 Our concept is based on authentic Mayan ancestry.  Using actual Guipils, the garments of Mayans and their descendants in Guatemala, we are able to bring the appeal and influence of the ancient world to silhouettes and styles of today.  Because we use vintage materials that can never be replicated, the individuality of each pattern/colorway lends itself to one-of-a-kind pieces.

A fusion of ancient Mayan culture with exotic worldly imagery, its handcrafted styles exemplify a line that will set trends, not follow them.  With exclusive design, packaging and, distribution, it will provide a unique designer brand to the world through ancient inspiration. 

The most recent injection of creativity leads us on a Mayan expedition of ruins and customs carried on today, evoking spirits past.  Their effects allude to finery and grandeur; strength and wisdom; destiny and passion.  Stories soon to be told will echo the tales and treasures of our latest and cherished collection, Colección Chi Chi. 

We've introduced new silhouettes, textures, and facets all yet, maintained the quality, feel, and reason for enchantment currently found with Chak Chel. 

 Copenhagen Artificial Fur offers luxury "fur" jackets and various accessories such as scarves, stoles, wraps, hats and headbands in 100% cruelty free materials. Copenhagen Artificial Fur designs and produces the collection in-house at their Copenhagen headquaters. The concept is based on great design, luxurious materials and high ethical standards in all aspects from choise of materials to work conditions during production. Copenhagen Artificial Fur support various animal rights groups, both locally and internationally, but prefer not to take actively part in any campaigns themselves as their cruelty free animal fur alternative speak volumes about their view on the matter!
