Bio My name is Jurate and I am originally from Lithuania. I've lived in Hawaii for the last three years and that's where I started truly following my heart and my passion. I think Hawaii has a very special energy and inspiration for the creative souls. I've always loved fashion and arts and envisioned my self living on the beach surrounded by beautiful nature. Being inspired by nature, my sister and I decided to use our talents and created Violet Luck. The name of the company came from the last name “Luckaite.” We decided to use the word “Luck” and Violet’s name together. More significantly, the violet color is known as a divine color. It has been used to symbolize magic, mystery and royalty. Violet is also the color of purpose and is associated with the Crown chakra that symbolizes a universal connection. This is where ideas and imagination come from, which are then transferred on the silk and handbags. Furthermore, it symbolizes purity and charm, as well as harmony of the universe and the planets in the solar system because of the combination of red (known as yang) and blue (known as yin). As a noun” violet” has another meaning. It’s been considered a good luck gift to any woman in any season. Combining all the meanings of “Violet” we decided to create Violet Luck… and to give a Good Luck Gift to a Woman by transferring beautiful flora and fauna on the finest silk and handbags.  With 30 years of experience in graphic design, painting on silk, furniture and accessories my sister Violet started creating exquisite pieces.  Our combined vision was to create something beautiful and exceptional that would express the individuality and uniqueness of every woman. Simply said, we created a line to Celebrate a Woman and accentuate her confidence, beauty and uniqueness. 

We decided to bring a new dimension to fashion by creating jazzy and artistic handbags, and colorful, eye-catching silk shifts and scarves. The concept was to create a unique, exciting and color forward line of “accessories” that would allow every woman in no time feel and look beautiful wearing exquisite art wherever she goes, regardless of whether it’s the beach, a cocktail party or a fancy dinner. 

Silk Shifts – our silk shifts are made from the highest quality 100% silk. Each piece is individually designed, one of a kind, hand painted and signed by an artist. Each silk shift takes at least 20 hours to paint and finish, and involves mixing more than 20 colors to get such a remarkable effect on the fabric.  It can be worn as an accessory, over a swimsuit as a cover-up, or simply as a dress or with white pants/shorts/jeans. Silk shifts allow you to switch from being on the beach to walking into a cocktail party or a nice dinner in seconds. Just put on your silk shift and you will transform into an elegant, classy, sassy and beautiful high end fashionable woman without having to spend hours getting ready and picking your outfit. Our silk shifts can be hand washed in warm water and ironed or dry-cleaned. The most astonishing thing is that our silk shifts have no single line of stitching. It is not a dress; rather it is glamorous, elegant, color forward accessory. It is so light and so small; it can fit into your palm!

Art on the handbags – Violet Luck handbags are designed with a unique and exotic style, and create a complete look when matched with the silk shifts. Each bag is a wearable piece of art and is signed by an artist. Using various mediums, decoupage techniques, hand painting and sospeso transparente as well as the images from nature, we create the handbag that becomes a true piece of art. When you own Violet Luck handbag, you are not carrying a boring plain bag anymore, but rather a painting from a gallery which becomes a memorable piece and a part of your uniqueness. 

Since we are a brand new Company, we just started selling online and getting into few high-end boutiques in Oahu.
